From the Heart Ranch is retiring from raising alpacas. That does not mean that Wade & Robyn Kuhl are retiring. Robyn will continue as Administrator of Natural Fiber Producers and a partner in Certified Sorted Systems, LLC. Wade will continue to shear and teach shearing classes. We will still be living in Sandpoint, Idaho.
We believe the fiber is the future of this industry and will continue to do all we can to help move all of us forward with a focus on farms becoming sustainable.
Our farm in Sandpoint Idaho is for sale and so are our remaining alpacas.

The Farm is under contract and we close 7.29.13
1635 Rapid Lightning Rd. Sandpoint, ID 83864  208-265-2788
All of our fiber we shear annually is sorted using this system and submitted to Natural Fiber Producers.  An agricultural cooperative created to help the small to medium size farms maintain ownership of their fiber so we may maintain a self sustaining farm. Our fiber producing alpacas support themselves and us thru the use of their fiber.
We are a
Farm
We feed native grasses hay and free choice minerals ( Cache La Poudre )
The Minerals are put in a feed bucket with Diotomaceous Earth and Ground flax meal.

For 8-10 alpacas:   1 cup of DE, 1 cup of Flax and 1 cup of Minerals/ day
